As part of our curriculum, we place a focus on community involvement.
With this, we have had several visitors throughout the year teach the children about their involvement in the community and
engage the students in conversations on how they can affect the community. Among those who have visited we have had
pastors, nurses, teachers, policemen, 911 dispachers, firemen and military personnel.

One of our parents, CPT Don Thompson, is an officer in the GA Army National
Guard. Prior to his tour in Afghanistan, he visited the children to discuss various ways being in the military serves
not just the Nation, but local communities as well.
